Warranty Policy

At Nerdy Nest, we aim to provide complete transparency about product coverage, warranty terms, and claim procedures. Warranty coverage varies depending on the product type and brand, as outlined below.

🧠 1. General Warranty Policy

• All products sold by Nerdy Nest are tested before shipping.

• Unless otherwise stated, products include a 7-day check warranty — this allows you to test the device upon receipt and report any issues.

• After this period, manufacturer/vendor warranty (if applicable) applies.

• Issues must be reported within 7 days of delivery and accompanied by an unboxing or usage video clearly showing the issue.

🧰 2. Eweadn Official Products

• All new Eweadn products come with a 3-Month Limited Official Warranty.

• This warranty covers functional defects only, such as:

  • Device not powering on or connecting

  • Wireless connectivity failure

  • Sensor or PCB malfunction

Exclusions:

• Mechanical wear and tear (e.g., switch degradation, scroll wheel wear, key wobble, etc.)

• Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, marks, discoloration)

• User-inflicted damage (drops, spills, disassembly, modification)

• Accessories and packaging (USB cables, receivers, keycaps, dongles)

Warranty Claim Requirements:

• Original box and all included accessories must be returned.

• Serial number on the box/device must be intact and legible.

• Proof of purchase is required.

⚙️ 3. Other Brands

• Non-Eweadn items include a 7-day functional warranty for you to test the product.

• After this period, any ongoing warranty from the original manufacturer or vendor will apply (if applicable and whatever resolution they provide would have to be accepted.)

• Nerdy Nest will assist in coordinating with the vendor for warranty claims where applicable.

🔧 4. Custom Mechanical Keyboards

• Custom-built keyboards are tested thoroughly before delivery.

• Warranty applies only to the electronics and components provided by Nerdy Nest.

• Issues arising from user modifications, switch lubing, repainting, or third-party part installation are not covered.

• PCB and stabilizer issues caused by soldering or desoldering will void the warranty.

📦 5. Open Box & Refurbished Items

We are introducing Open Box and Repaired items in various conditions:

Condition: Excellent
Description: Product opened once, minimal or no signs of use
Warranty Coverage: 7-day functionality warranty only

Condition: Excellent (Damaged during shipment)
Description: Product opened once, minimal or no signs of use - Repaired or cosmetic damages during shipment.
Warranty Coverage: 7-day functionality warranty only

Condition: Fair
Description: Minor wear or cosmetic imperfections
Warranty Coverage: 7-day functionality warranty only

Condition: Repaired
Description: Previously damaged or repaired item, fully functional
Warranty Coverage: 7-day functionality warranty only

⚠️ Open Box and Repaired items are guaranteed to function as described but do not carry any manufacturer or extended warranty. Cosmetic or accessory defects are not covered. Open box items may also not have the original packaging.

🚫 6. Exclusions & Limitations

Warranty claims will not be accepted in the following cases:

• Lack of unboxing or issue demonstration video

• Missing serial number or tampered identifiers

• Evidence of liquid damage, drops, or physical impact

• Issues caused by software, firmware, or OS incompatibility

• Modification or repair attempts by unauthorized parties

⚖️ 7. Warranty Claim Process

1. Fill out the Warranty Claim Form.

2. Our team will review your submission within 2–5 business days.

3. If accepted, you will receive return instructions.

4. Once received and inspected, a replacement or repair will be processed depending on availability and issue type.

🕒 8. Processing Timeline

• Claim Review: 2–5 business days (we may ask you to perform troubleshooting actions as well)

• Inspection: 1–10 business days (depends on what sort of issue needs to be inspected)

• Replacement or Repair Dispatch: 3–10 business days (if applicable)

🏛️ 9. Governing Law

This warranty policy is governed by the laws of Pakistan. By purchasing from Nerdy Nest, you agree to comply with and be bound by the terms described herein.
