NerdBoard 60 keeps the familiar GH60 footprint that fits thousands of off-the-shelf cases and plates, then adds a dedicated arrow cluster you don't have to reach for a layer to use. Every switch is hot-swappable, every key is individually lit, and the whole board is driven by a bare RP2040 with its own onboard flash — no piggyback module, no soldering to get started.

KEY FEATURES
GH60 layout with arrows
Fully hot-swappable
Optional rotary encoder
Kailh MX-style hot-swap sockets accept both 3-pin and 5-pin switches. Swap switches by hand — no soldering, no downtime.
The Esc position accepts an EC11 encoder in place of a switch, made solder-free with machined press-fit sockets. Rotation and push are both mappable — volume, scroll, or your own.
Powered by RP2040
A bare dual-core RP2040 with 16 MB of onboard QSPI flash — integrated directly, not a plug-in module. Fast response and broad firmware support.
Per-key RGB
A discrete USB-C 2.0 receptacle mounted right on the PCB edge for a clean, durable, lag-free connection — nothing to work loose.
Front-edge flashing buttons
Dedicated BOOT and RESET tact switches on the front edge, reachable through the plate with a paperclip when flashing or entering the bootloader.
Wired USB-C, on-board
An addressable SK6812 MINI-E under every switch position for full per-key lighting, effects, and indicators.
Full-perimeter underglow
Eighteen WS2812B LEDs around all four edges of the underside — vibrant ambient glow, made for acrylic and transparent cases.
QMK / VIA ready
Full key remapping, layers, RGB control, and encoder functions through VIA — no rebuilds needed.
