The VTER Jeet65 is a 65% mechanical keyboard that leans enthusiast rather than entry-level, pairing a CNC-machined 6063 aluminum housing with a gasket-mounted build and proper acoustic tuning. It arrives fully assembled and ready to type — Ergon linear switches and Cherry profile keycaps pre-installed. (This is the tri-mode mechanical Jeet65, not the wired Hall Effect model.)

The 65% layout keeps dedicated arrow keys and a compact right column while trimming the numpad and function row — a recognisable, efficient footprint that frees up desk space without giving up navigation. Build quality is excellent, with electrostatic spray paint over the CNC shell for a clean, durable finish.

Connectivity is tri-mode — USB-C wired, Bluetooth 5.0, and 2.4GHz wireless — backed by a 6000mAh battery for long wireless stretches across multiple devices. The board runs QMK firmware and supports VIA, so you can remap keys, build layers, and tune lighting through a straightforward interface rather than proprietary software. Per-key RGB is joined by an RGB underglow strip for ambient glow around the case.

Inside, the Jeet65 uses a gasket-mounted structure with a PC slotted positioning plate and a four-layer dampening stack — silicone base pad, PET film, Poron switch pad, and plate foam — to control resonance and deliver a fuller, more composed sound. Hongfeng tuned, factory-lubed stabilizers keep the larger keys stable and rattle-free. The full hot-swap PCB accepts both 3-pin and 5-pin switches, so you can swap and experiment without soldering. It ships with VTER's own Ergon linear switches — a smooth, light 5-pin linear with a POM stem and decent factory lubrication — which, combined with the gasket mount and foam stack, give a smooth keystroke with a controlled, cushioned feel.
