Read the full description
The Outemu Lemon V3 is a refined silent tactile switch for anyone who wants feedback without noise. Tuned for office environments, shared spaces, and late-night builds, it delivers a soft tactile bump with muted acoustics — a strong fit for productivity-focused setups. (Outemu sells this switch interchangeably as the Lemon V3 and Lime V3 — same switch, two names.)
Built with durable PA66 top and bottom housings and a POM box stem, the Lemon V3 offers excellent stability, reduced wobble, and consistent keypresses. The box stem design also helps limit dust ingress, improving long-term reliability.
With a light 35gf operating force, a distinct tactile event, and a long 21mm spring, the Lemon V3 gives a smooth return and a comfortable typing feel that reduces finger fatigue over extended sessions. Notably, the tactile bump is the heaviest point of the keystroke — the force eases off after the bump, so bottoming out is lighter than the bump itself. The result is a pronounced, satisfying tactile event followed by a soft landing rather than a firm bottom-out. Throughout, the silent dampening structure keeps bottom-out and return noise to a minimum while preserving the tactile response.
Compatible with standard MX-style 5-pin hot-swap and soldered PCBs, the Outemu Lemon V3 is a strong choice for custom keyboards built for work, study, or quiet gaming.

💡 Force Curve Note
The Lemon V3 uses a progressive-then-decreasing force curve: the stroke begins at 35gf, rises to a 55gf tactile peak at the bump, then eases to a 45gf bottom-out. Because the bump is the highest-resistance point in the whole keystroke, it reads as distinct and satisfying even at this light overall weight — followed by a soft landing rather than a firm bottom-out.
📦 How Many Do I Need?
Switches are sold in packs of 10. As a rough guide: a 60/65% board needs ~68 switches (7 packs), a 75% ~84 (9 packs), a TKL ~87 (9 packs), and a full-size ~104 (11 packs). Buy a pack or two extra if you want spares.
