A 143-key PBT dye-sublimation keycap set in NuPhy's flat KDA profile — a festive cat-themed Christmas design in forest green, white, and pastel orange, with illustrated novelty keys and fade-proof embedded legends.
Read the full description
The NuPhy Meow Xmas KDA is a 143-key PBT dye-sublimation keycap set built around a Christmas celebration theme where cats are the undisputed guests of honour. Ribbons, bells, socks, snowflakes, and the occasional napping cat are woven across the modifiers, novelty keys, and spacebars in a warm, illustrated style that's festive without being loud — the palette of forest green, clean white, and soft pastel orange keeps the set composed and cohesive as a desk piece well beyond the holiday season.
The colour distribution is carefully considered. Deep forest green covers the modifiers, function row, and bottom row, anchoring the layout with a rich seasonal tone. Clean white alphanumerics give clear legend readability against the dark modifiers, while pastel orange legends throughout add warmth and tie the green and white zones together. The illustrated novelty keys — cats in Christmas hats, presents, ornaments, and seasonal decorations — appear across the modifier and navigation positions where the artwork is most visible in normal use, and the spacebar carries a signature illustrated scene, making the most prominent key on the board a centrepiece of the design.
KDA is NuPhy's proprietary flat, uniform-height profile in the XDA family — a low, spherical dish where every row sits at the same height and angle. The flat, consistent feel across all rows makes KDA a popular choice for anyone who moves frequently between keys or prefers a layout-agnostic typing feel, and the spherical dish guides the fingertip naturally toward the centre of each key. PBT dye-sublimation printing embeds the pastel orange legends and illustrated artwork directly into the keycap surface rather than sitting on top of it, so the legends and illustrations stay vivid and intact through extended daily use without fading, peeling, or wear.
At 143 keys, the Meow Xmas set covers a broad range of ANSI and Mac layouts — full-size, TKL, 75%, 65%, and compact configurations are all within reach, making it a versatile set for collectors and builders who own multiple boards or want layout flexibility built into a single purchase.
