The MKESPN K815A is a compact wired mechanical macropad for users who want a clean, minimal set of programmable inputs without the bulk of a larger controller. Eight hot-swap mechanical keys and a dedicated knob cover the most common macro and shortcut use cases — application switching, media control, gaming inputs, layer toggles, custom workflows — in a footprint small enough to sit comfortably alongside any keyboard without claiming meaningful desk space.
The eight keys use 5-pin hot-swap sockets, giving full switch freedom without soldering. The pre-installed switches are Long Hua linear units — manufactured under the same parent group as Kailh — with a purple lower housing, clear top housing, and a light greenish stem, arriving well-lubed from the factory for a smooth, consistent keystroke with no break-in required. Single-layer plate foam provides baseline acoustic dampening that keeps the sound controlled on the compact chassis. PBT XDA-profile keycaps cover all eight positions with a flat, uniform-height spherical dish that keeps the pad low and easy to reach across every key. Key 1 ships in a distinct red colourway on both the Black and White variants, giving an immediate visual anchor for the primary macro position.
All inputs are fully programmable through a proprietary Windows application covering key remapping, macro creation, and lighting. One important note for international buyers: the software is currently available in Chinese only, with no English translation. The core functions — binding keys, recording macros, changing lighting — are navigable with patience, but anyone who prefers a fully English interface should factor this in. As a hardware fallback, the underside includes a dedicated RGB power toggle and a separate button to cycle through 10 built-in lighting effects independently of any software — a practical touch for quick lighting changes without opening the app.
Available in Black and White colourways, both with the matching red accent key and knob that give the K815A its visual identity.

⚠️ Software Note
The K815A's Windows configuration software is currently only available in Chinese. The key-binding and macro-recording functions are usable by non-Chinese speakers with some patience, but anyone who requires a fully English interface should be aware of this before purchasing. Note the hardware RGB controls on the underside work independently of the software.
