A multi-input left-hand controller with 19 hot-swap keys, a clickable analog joystick, a clicky detented knob, a roller, and three extra buttons — a genuinely versatile macropad that goes well beyond keys-and-a-knob.
Read the full description
The MKESPN K811 goes well beyond the standard "keys and a knob" macropad formula. Its input surface combines 19 hot-swap mechanical keys, a clickable analog joystick, a large clicky tactile knob, three additional buttons, and a physical roller — a density of programmable inputs that makes it a genuinely versatile left-hand controller for gaming, creative software, productivity shortcuts, and anything in between.
The 19 mechanical keys use 5-pin hot-swap sockets for complete switch freedom without soldering. The pre-installed switches are Long Hua linears — Long Hua sits under the same parent group as Kailh, and that lineage shows in the build quality — with a purple lower housing, clear top housing, and light greenish stem, arriving well-lubed from the factory for a smooth, consistent keystroke out of the bag. Stabilisers on the larger keys are pre-tuned and rattle-free, which matters on a compact pad where every key is within constant reach, and single-layer plate foam provides baseline dampening that keeps the sound controlled without changing the pad's overall character.
The large knob deserves specific attention: it uses clicky tactile detents rather than the smooth EC11 encoder common in most macropads, giving each rotation increment a defined, satisfying click that suits discrete step-based inputs — volume, brush size, zoom level, timeline scrubbing — better than a smooth encoder typically does. The joystick clicks when pressed as a dedicated button input, adding an extra programmable action to the most flexible input on the pad, and the roller on the right side adds a further scrolling or adjustment axis that maps independently.
All inputs — keys, joystick, knob, buttons, roller — are fully programmable through a web-based driver with macro support and lighting adjustment, no install required. A hardware RGB toggle on the underside cycles through 10 lighting effects independently of the driver, handy for switching effects without opening a browser. North-facing per-key RGB illuminates the PBT XDA-profile keycaps across all 19 keys — a flat, uniform-height spherical profile that keeps the footprint low and consistent across positions, well suited to the varied hand positions of left-hand controller use.
