A 65% wired Hall Effect keyboard with a metal positioning plate, aluminum side plates, five-layer dampening, 0.01mm Rapid Trigger, and pre-lubed Dragon King magnetic switches — a heftier, better-built magnetic board.
Read the full description
The Aula Hero68 HE is a 65% wired Hall Effect keyboard that pairs magnetic-switch speed with a build more substantial than most boards in its class — a metal positioning plate, aluminum side plates, and a five-layer dampening stack rarely seen on magnetic keyboards at this price. It's aimed at gamers who want fast, contactless input without giving up on build quality or desk presence.
On input, the Hero68 HE delivers 0.01mm Rapid Trigger accuracy with adjustable actuation travel from 0.01mm to 3.4mm, letting you set hair-trigger sensitivity for fast shooters or a more deliberate keystroke for slower, precise play. Because Hall Effect switches actuate through magnetic fields rather than physical pin contact, they sidestep the inconsistencies of traditional mechanical switches for smoother, more consistent, and more durable keypresses. An 8000Hz polling rate and up to 128K scan rate keep input capture fast and latency low at 0.125ms.
The competitive feature set is configured through a Chromium-based web driver — no install — and covers SOCD (Snap Key), Mod-Tap, Dynamic Keystroke, and more, letting you assign multiple functions to a single key by tap, hold, or travel depth, and resolve opposing inputs cleanly for smoother movement. The board is hot-swappable with TTC magnetic switches (King of Magnetic, Uranus Gaming Edition, and the same-series Meteor, Black King, Dragon King, and Jade King switches), so you can retune the feel down the line.
Structurally, the Hero68 HE runs a metal positioning plate over a five-layer stack — Poron foam, fiber switch pad, PET sound-dampening film, bottom foam, and a silicone base pad — for a controlled sound profile with plate-mount stabilisers keeping the larger keys in check. Shine-through legends, south-facing per-key RGB, and a side light box give clean night visibility and a vibrant, fully adjustable glow (colour, effect, brightness, speed). Finished with Cherry-profile keycaps in the Red/Black Contour Gradient colourway, it's a solid, well-built 65% with genuine visual character.
